Place: Located in an ancient Basque fishing village, Getaria, on Spain's rugged Northern Coast. Txakolina or Txakoli is a style of spirited white, or in this case rose, made in Basque country with native grapes. One of the distinctive features of Getariako Txakolina is the slight natural spritz

Farming: Sustainable

Varietal: 50% Hondarrabi Zuri (white) 50% Hondarrabi Beltza (red) - indigenous varietals

Soil: Calcareous clay

Winemaking: The red & white grapes are picked, destemmed & co-fermented for 3 weeks with indigenous yeast, at the end of fermentation, tanks are closed preserving natural carbonation from the fermentation. Ages from 6 months on the lees in a chilled tank, preserving the effervescent character.
