Producer: Veronique Maret is the 4th generation winemaker, although the whole family participates in the work at the estate, including sister, Caroline, mother Mireille & father Michel. The style of the house is traditional winemaking with a deep rooted respect for the land.
Place: A single vineyard cuvée, from ‘Mourre des Perdrix’ a parcel situated in Courthézon, Châteauneuf du Pape, Southern Rhône.
Cultivation: Organic practices
Varietal: 69% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15%, Mourvedre, & a splash of Cincault
Soil: Red clay, round pebbles, sandy marl
Winemaking: Handpicked, fermentation in steel & oak during 3-4 weeks, ages in oak vats & demi-muids during 12-18 months.
