Producer: Ingrid gave up a career in marketing returning to her hometown, to the vineyards inherited by her grandmother, for love of the vine. At this time her father was running things & in 2010 she challenged him to a blind tasting of ‘who could make the best wine’ after which he agreed to allow her to take charge of the business.

Place: in the Niederösterreich, the Weinviertel DAC just north of Vienna, in the hamlet of Breitenwaida

Soil: ferruginous & calcareous loess

Varietal: Grüner Veltliner

Farming: certified organic with biodynamic practices

Vinification: 8h maceration on the skins, gentle pressing without stems, aged on the lees  in stainless steel tank.
