Producer: A family winery located in the district of Lolol, Colchagua Valley, Chile. This passion project is led by Enrique Villalobos, a painter & sculptor, his wife Rita Encina, a ceramist & their sons Martin, Alejandro & Rolando. The winery is run out of his sculpture studio, the Valle de los Artistas, also an artist collective and community space. The wines created here are unique, terroir driven, Chilean natural wines, from the wild family vineyard, organic fruit is also sourced from 2 local growers.
Place: The Colchagua Valley, considered to be one of the best grape growing areas in Chile, lies in the heart of Central Valley.
Cultivation: Practicing organic, low intervention, using ancient techniques & draught horses, dry-farming. The wild bush vines, planted in the 1940’s, are untrained & ungrafted, growing free amongst the Chilean flora.

Winemaking: handharvest, fermented spontaneously using native yeast, aged 9 months in stainless-steel, bottled unfined & unfiltered.
