Producer: Mee Godard, an oenologist by training, originally from South Korea, founded her domain in 2013 by taking over Andre Meyran’s plots in Morgon, over 3 climats – Cote du Py, Grand Cras & Corcelette. In 2017 she added an hectare in Moulin-a- Vent. She has a burgundian style & produces structured wines with a distinctive character – Vin de Garde, age worthy wines.

Place: Cote du Py, a site that sits at the highest point in the Cru Morgon, northern Beaujolais. The grapes come from a blend of 3 plots in the Cote du Py, composed of the oldest soil in Beaujolais, producing long lived wines.

Cultivation: Organic & Biodynamic methods

Varietal: Gamay

Soil: Blue colored, decomposed rocks & schist (very old volcanic rock)

Winemaking: Partially destemmed, each plot fermented in separate tank and aged separately, 16-20 day maceration, aged in barrels, Foudre, & demi Muid for 11 months, followed by 3 months in tank.
