Producer: Evriviadis Sclavos, going by Vladis, farms his 8 hectare of vines located in different places on the Island, in a sustainable way, producing wines focusing on indigenous varietals expressive of the terroir of Cephalonia. His grandfather, coming from a family of ship merchants, came to Cephalonia in 1919 & planted some of the vines that are still in use today.

Place: located in eastern Cephalonia, a Greek Island in the Ionian Sea, under the slopes of Mt. Ainos.

Farming: Demeter certified, dry farming

Varietal: Native blend – Vostilidi, Moschatela, Moscat, Tsaousi

Soil: limestone, clay, sandstone

Varietal: a white blend of native grapes including Roditis, with Moscatel, Vostilidi & Tsaousi

Vinification: fermented in stainless steel, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast , using a small amount of sulfites

Tasting Notes: crisp – mineral driven – stone fruit – salty lime
