Producer: The first established Champagne house, exclusively producing Champagne since 1729. Founded by Nicolas Ruinart in the Champagne region, city of Reims. Chardonnay is the House’s emblematic grape variety.

Place: Champagne, a region in northeastern France, with pure limestone & clay soils, the most exceptional place on earth for sparkling wine.

Farming: Traditional farming, grapes come from vineyards all over Champagne including Montagne de Reims & Côte de Blancs.

Varietal: 55% Pinot Noir & 45% Chardonnay – the fruit comes from 30-40 premiers Crus vineyards.

Vinification: Hand harvested grapes, a sparkling wine made in the traditional method, fermented in stainless steel vats, undergoes malolactic fermentation, aged in the cellar for 2-3 years, dosage at 8g/l.
