Grower-Producer: Françoise Bedel took over her family’s small estate in the Marne Valley. Since birth her eldest son, Vincent, was very sick & was able to be cured by homeopathic doctors, which caused Françoise to convert to Biodynamic viticulture in 1996. She has been a champion of the Pinot Meunier grape variety, her Champagnes are low dosage & lees aged in the bottle for many years. Her son, Vincent Deseaubeau, now runs the estate.

Place: Based near the village of Crouttes-sur-Marne, on the western edge of the Marne Valley, Champagne.

Farming: certified Organic & Biodynamic

Varietal: 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir

Soil: Clay + Marl on a limestone base

Winemaking: hand harvested, lees aged for 5 years in bottle, with a dosage of 4.55g/L
