Producer: The first established Champagne house, exclusively producing Champagne since 1729. Founded by Nicolas Ruinart in the Champagne region, city of Reims. Chardonnay is the House’s emblematic grape variety.

Place: Champagne, a region in northeastern France, with pure limestone & clay soils, the most exceptional place on earth for sparkling wine.

Farming: Traditional farming, grapes come from vineyards all over Champagne including Montagne de Reims & Côte de Blancs.

Cuvee: this is a Blanc de Blancs, a white wine made exclusively of white grapes.

Varietal: Chardonnay from premier Crus vineyards, primarily in the Côte de Blancs & Montagne de Reims, a blend of 25-30 crus.

Vinification: Made in the traditional method with 75-80% new vintage wine & 20-25% of which are reserve wines from a range of vintages, aged in the cellar for 2-3 years, dosage 7g/l.
