Producer: Daniel Landi & Fernando Garcia met studying oenology, they were both working in wineries around the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, when they decided to create Commando G together in 2008. They purchased & leased small vineyards high in the Sierra de Gredos, making compelling wines from bush vine Garnacha grown on high altitude, mountain terrain plots, focusing on the finesse of the grape.
Place : Located in the Sierra de Gredos mountain range, in the Vinos de Madrid appellation, Central Spain.
Site: From 6 vineyard plots of Garnacha at 900m above sea level, near the municipality of Rosas de Puerto at the foot of mountain Cerro de los Corzos. The name of the cuvee is an homage to Burgundy reds, an expression of mountain Garnacha.
Farming: Organic with biodynamic practices

Winemaking: Hand harvested whole clusters, natural yeast fermentation, long maceration in open top vat, aging 10 months in a combination of French oak vat & clay amphora.
