Producer: Mee Godard, an oenologist by training, originally from South Korea, founded her domain in 2013 by taking over Andre Meyran’s plots in Morgon, over 3 climats – Côte du Py, Grand Cras & Corcelette. In 2017 she added an hectare in Moulin-a-Vent. She has a burgundian style & produces structured wines with a distinctive character – Vin de Garde, age worthy wines.

Place: Corcelette is a site in the north of the Morgon Cru in Beaujolais. This vineyard site has older vines (on average 70 years old) growing on south-east facing slopes & is known for producing  very elegant wines.

Farming: organic & biodynamic methods

Varietal: Gamay

Soil: Granit, sand

Winemaking: whole bunch, partially destemmed, long maceration, fermentation in concrete vats, matured in Oak barrels of various sizes.
