Gérard took over from his father Jean in 2002, today Virginie, a trained oenologist, works alongside her father both in the field & in the cellar.
Farming: sustainable practicesPlace: the single grand cru wall-enclosed vineyard in the heart of the cote de Nuits, named after the river, Vouge.
Varietal: Pinot Noir from vines between 60 & 80 years of age
Soil: gravel over limestone
Winemaking: Fermentation with indigenous yeast, aged in old french oak barrels for 18 months, bottled unfined & unfiltered.
