Producer: The oldest Napa Valley Winery, originally established in 1882 by Alfred L. Tubbs. Now an iconic winery with its stone castle carved into the hillside, currently owned by Bo Barrett since 1972, he reopened the estate after renovating the property, replanting the vineyard and installing some energy saving cutting edge technologies. The Estate is well known for winning the white wine section of the historic ‘Judgment of Paris’ in 1976 with their 1973 Chardonnay, placing California on the world map. Winemaker Matt Crafton, makes widely sought after wines that are consistent & ageworthy, renowned for the Estate Cabernet.
